Filmed over a year, Get Well Northern Ireland follows a controversial new health scheme which allows GPs to send difficult, or so called 'heartsink', patients for complementary therapies on the NHS.
 
We film the emotional journeys of patients who swap anti-depressants for aromatherapy oils and, away from the scheme, follow a former nurse who turns down chemotherapy for vitamin supplements. The results are shocking and life changing for all involved.
